The Vanniesphere

Understanding ourselves, our relationships, and the systems shaping how we live.

The world keeps asking where technology is taking us.

I’m interested in what it’s doing to us along the way.

The Human Behind the System.

At the center of every system: technology, finance, artificial intelligence, healthcare, and everything in between, there’s still a human being trying to make sense of it all.

That is where Vanessa enters the chat.

The Vanniesphere exists to slow the world down just enough to ask the question most people overlook: What is happening to the human in all of this?

We don’t develop in isolation.

Who we become is shaped by what surrounds us. The relationships, environments, experiences, and systems we encounter throughout life.

When these conditions support us, they can become capacities within us. When they don’t, we adapt, sometimes in ways that continue long after the original circumstances have changed.

Understanding ourselves often begins with understanding what shaped us.

How this shows up in real life.

The patterns shaping us don’t stay in the past. They show up in how we think, feel, relate, work, cope, connect, and respond to the world around us.

The Vanniesphere explores those patterns across the places where psychology and everyday life intersect.
